For those not in the know, the piratical mayhem that ensued this September the 27th was in celebration of Kristina finally receiving her Ph.D. in French.  Yep, that's right - she officially kicks pirate booty now and has a sheepskin to prove it.

So what you're seeing on this site are a few select photos of the more memorable moments from the party, and a bunch of staged bits and pieces since it's nice for me, an amateur photographer, to get a chance to play around with live bodies.  Thanks for your patience while I kept saying "just one more shot, OK?"

It's with a sense of sincere thanks to everyone that attended that I post these pages.  It really made Kris' PhD feel like it was finally here for real.

Here's a raise of the glass to everyone that attended and those that attended in spirit, even though they were far away.  Thanks for making Kris' party such a memorable one.
